This is the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, home of the Lewis Family Playhouse- a 560 seat theatre, Celebration Hall- a large rental hall and a public library. The Playhouse is a performing arts venue that hosts live shows such as musical acts, plays and ballet.
We are a smaller intimate theater. It seats 560 so you have an amazing view from every seat. The furthest seat is only 15 rows from the stage. The farthest seat in the entire theater is only 60ft away. (about 4 cars in length)
No food of any kind is permitted inside the theater, however in-house purchased beverages and bottled water are allowed. Concession items may be sold in the lobby during the seating and intermission periods but will not be allowed past the ticket booths that lead into the auditorium. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to store outside food or beverages on behalf of patrons.
We don’t have a set dress code for our theatre; however many people feel coming is a special treat and choose to dress up as if they’re going out to a nice dinner.
The Lewis family is one of our biggest supporters, but the building is owned and operated by the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
Yes, if you enter any of the restroom doors there is a drinking fountain before you go into the restrooms. The restroom by the rotunda now has a bottle filling station as well!
